Quality
Alaska Analytical Laboratory (AAL) has implemented a quality assurance program to ensure that we closely monitor each step from sample login to sample disposal.
The operation of our laboratory and our quality assurance procedures are based on guidelines established by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, and the Environmental Protection Agency, and are documented in our Quality Assurance Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
Providing our clients with accurate, reproducible and legally-defensible data is our top priority. Our quality assurance program is designed to routinely analyze quality control samples including, but not limited to, the analysis of Laboratory Blanks to monitor contamination, and Laboratory Fortified Blanks and Matrix Spike Sample/Matrix Spike Duplicates to monitor accuracy and precision.
AAL maintains the appropriate chain-of-custody for samples submitted to the laboratory and an effective, on-going quality control program to measure and verify laboratory performance. Our daily operational performance is monitored and we provide timely corrective action, which is tracked for resolution and appropriateness. AAL maintains complete records of data and reports generated by the laboratory. We are committed to training employees in good analytical techniques and in the requirements of our Standard Operating Procedures to meet specific client data quality objectives.
