Alaska Analytical Laboratory provides the highest quality analysis and the fastest turnaround time possible. Our normal analysis is 10 business days. Results are sent to the person who submits the samples, or as specified on the chain-of-custody. All samples are considered the property of the client.
Samples are dealt with in order of acceptance, or scheduled for highest efficiency. Samples are tracked from receipt through disposal with our powerful Laboratory Management Information System. Gas Chromatograph’s are equipped with auto-samplers and integrated into our computer systems for accurate and efficient data output.
Large quantities of samples take longer to finish. Please notify the laboratory when large volumes of samples will be delivered, so the laboratory may make arrangements for your service needs. Turnaround time is contingent upon lab capacity at the time of request.
While rush service is normally available, please understand that there are several factors that may affect our ability to fulfill your request. Rush fees are applied according to the requested turnaround. Rush fees are assessed for samples received with 24 hours or less remaining on their EPA established holding time.
